Breitenbach lies on the sunny side of the Inntal valley, embedded amid gently rolling hills and steep mountain peaks. The town also comprises the suburbs of Haus, Kleinsöll and Schönau.

Breitenbach is located on the left bank of the River Inn, opposite Kundl.
The pretty town is located on the sunny side of the Inn Valley, ringed by gently rolling hills and majestic peaks.
