If you come from Munich, take the A 12 motorway via Kufstein to the exit Zillertal (note: all motorway and dual carriageways within Austria subject to toll), then take the B 169 federal road to Zell am Ziller, there take the left turn-off to Gerlos. From Strass in Zillertal (Zillertal valley) approx. 40 km to Gerlos. Or via the Achenpass - exit Zillertal - further on as mentioned above.

From Munich via Kufstein to Jenbach. From there take either the "Zillertalbahn" train, or the bus to Zell am Ziller. Then take the post bus to Gerlos. A taxi ride from Jenbach will be about EURO 80 (1-2 persons) and from Zell am Ziller about EUR 40 (1-2 persons).
