The Glacier Playground at 3,250 m a.s.l. may well be the world's highest playground. Walking along the Tuxbach brook is fun for all ages. There is also a Climbing Camp for Children, where your kids learn the basics of mountaineering and the code of conduct that they should respect in the mountains. However, there is much more to choose from: tennis, climbing taster courses, walking tours with torches, and numerous festivals for the littl'uns make sure that your children will never be bored.

Tux-Finkenberg is located at the foot of the famous Hintertux Glacier, in the heart of the Ski and Glacier World Zillertal 3000. There is always snow and the winter landscape is perfect thanks to a healthy altitude of 3,250 m. That is the reason why last winter the Hintertux Glacier ranked first in the snow guarantee ratings of the website "snow-online.de".

But there is more than just nature. 30 alluring alpine huts offer fantastic hospitality. Enjoy the sunny side of life and recharge your batteries with specialities like the hearty "Käsespätzle" or the sweet "Kaiserschmarrn". Take a rest, but don't forget: there is much more to discover! Panorama runs lead all the way into the valley, and fun parks and half pipes offer excitement for snowboard aficionados.

Once you have had enough sport for the day, enter the world of Après Ski! You are guaranteed to meet people and maybe even have a little flirt! Sommerberg offers exciting beats, and the Hohenhaus Tenne bar is known for the star skiers it attracts. To facilitate bar-hopping, there is a free sports shuttle.

And at night, there is just as much going on! The numerous excellent restaurants, pubs, bars and clubs are well-connected thanks to the night bus (only one Euro!).

The free Tux Sportbus takes you effortlessly to Hintertux glacier - the kingdom of snow!
