A new flying machine and a further development of the Flying Fox, provides even more fun, action and an incomparable bird’s-eye view to all Arena guests in SUMMER and WINTER! The Arena Skyliner runs on 4 routes with a length of up to 738 m and hurtles with a maximum speed of 50 km/h over the Gerlosstein region.
OPERATING HOURS:
- 20.12.2011 to 01.04.2012 (restrictions may apply depending on weather conditions)
- Every day 11.00 am, 1.00 pm and 2.30 pm
- (Meeting point: Gerlosstein cable car top station)
- Ascent with the Gerlosstein cable car no later than 10.45 am, 12.45 pm and 2.15 pm. Other times can be arranged for groups of 5 and over
- Duration: approx. 1,5 hours
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE:
Minimum body weight: 40 kg / 88 Pounds
Maximum body weight: 125 kg / 275 Pounds
Children between the age of 8 and 10 years may only use the Arena Skyliner when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Children between the age of 11 and 14 years must be accompanied by someone aged 16 or over.
Equipment necessary for using the Skyliner is supplied.

Next to Zell lies the wildly romantic Gerlostal valley. Two different worlds meet here: Zell is located in the middle of the valley and is an ideal starting point for excursions and short trips. In Gerlos you can breathe in Alpine air and spend your holiday up in the the mountains.
Zell im Zillertal, the historic and geographic heart of the Zillertal valley, lies at an elevation of 580m and, with the surrounding villages of Gerlosberg, Hainzenberg, Zellberg and Rohrberg, offers around 5600 beds for tourists.
Gerlos, at 1300m above sea level, is one of the highest-lying villages of the Zillertal valley and offers beds for 4000 guests.
166 km of pistes and 49 state-of-the-art mountain railways and lifts make your winter holidays a very special time. You will ski at an elevation of 2,500m in the Tirolean regions of Zell and Gerlos, and in the neighbouring province of Salzburg, in the regions of Königsleiten, Wald, and Krimml.
