The Alpine flowers garden at the Höfener Alm alpine pasture is unique in Tirol. It is located a mere 8-minute walk from the Reuttener Seilbahnen moutnain railway top station.
600 kinds of flowers (among them 48 species of very rare Alpine flowers) on an area of more than 1.5 hecatres, at 1700 meters above sea level. The Alpine flowers garden is a Mekka for lovers of flowers and for photographers alike. Moreover, it has the function of a "Noah´s Ark". Main blooming season from Mid-June until the end of September. The Mountain Rescue offers guided tours during blooming season on a daily basis. Duration: 1.5 hrs approx., take place in any weather.
